Details for "Department of Energy's Ultra-Deepwater Advisory Committee and Unconventional Resources Technology Advisory Committee Meetings"
The first round of FACA meetings have been set to review RPSEA's 2009 Draft Annual Plan. The Ultra-Deepwater Advisory Committee meetings will take place all day September 9 and half a day on September 10. The Unconventional Resources Technology Advisory Committee meetings will take place all day September 11 and half a day September 12. The meetings will take place at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town in Alexandria, Virginia. More details, along with an agenda, will be given once provided. These meetings are open to the public, and RPSEA encourages those members with an interest to attend.
The purpose of these meetings is to provide advice on development and implementation of programs related to onshore unconventional natural gas and other petroleum resources and ultra-deepwater to the Secretary of Energy and provide comments, recommendations and priorities for the Department of Energy Annual Plan per requirements of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, Subtitle J, Section 999.
